Fragile 歌词翻译

If blood will flow when flesh and steel are one

Drying in the colour of the evening sun

Tomorrow's rain will wash the stains away

But something in our minds will always stay

Perhaps this final act was meant

To clinch a lifetime's argument

That nothing comes from violence and nothing ever could

For all those born beneath an angry star

Lest we forget how fragile we are

On and on the rain will fall

Like tears from a star, like tears from a star

On and on the rain will say

How fragile we are, how fragile we are

Metal Music - Satan or Santa? (公选作业。。求轻喷)

2014-5-7 17:13:36 阅读30 评论1 72014/05 May7

Metal music, similar to Rock n’ Roll, is somehow much stronger or even fiercer than the latter. When searching through Google Scholar using key words “metal music”, what hospitably greeted me were astonishing researches including arousal and anger, reckless behavior, drug abuse or even suicidal tendency among metal fans, urging me to think over immediately that I, also a metal fan, am indeed normal, calm, physically and psychologically healthy enough to write this essay. I should have expected it, though, for I have already witnessed too much prejudiced remarks or behaviors from the public towards those who have a crush on metal music.

To be frank, I have been enjoying almost all kinds

For you, A Thousand Times Over --Book report of The Kite Runner

2014-1-8 22:56:33 阅读81 评论0 82014/01 Jan8

Part 1 Outline

The Kite Runner, written by Khaled Hosseini, narrated a complicated story between Amir and Hassan, two Afghan boys who had been fed from the same breast but separated by hierarchy, religious belief and the turbulence of their nation. Brotherhood, friendship and loyalty, together with sin, confession and redemption, are threads of the whole book, revealing the contradictory human natures beneath the chaos where the two were engaged.

Part 2 Plot

Amir, the son of a rich and eminent merchant, lived in Afghanistan together with Hassan, the son of Ali, the servant of his house. Both boys were equally treated by Amir’s father regardless of their status or religious belief.

What is most important is invisible——Book report of THE LITTLE PRINCE

2013-11-27 23:43:21 阅读78 评论0 272013/11 Nov27

Part Ⅰ Outline

The Little Prince was not only written for children but also for grown-ups who are so called to be concerned about “matters of consequence” merely. The author, with the inspiration from the little prince, redefined the priority in one’s life, advocating a brave new value system different from the mass.

Part Ⅱ Character

The little prince is a genuine child. With extraordinary sense of observation and imagination, he is curious and sensitive about everything around, beautiful or ugly, reasonable or ridiculous, interesting or boring. Sometimes naive as he seems to be, he steadily holds his own view about the world he lives in and the people he has met during his travel.

Enter the Metal World

(Well...Another English homework it is....)

At the age of 15 I encountered my best fellow ever when I stayed alone—metal music. Before that, I had spent most of my spare time enjoying plain but popular songs that most girls of my age love. Rock bands like Linkinpark had also fascinated me a lot, but I had never gone further than punk or nu-metal. Yet everything changed when I pushed a CD named “Rock Bible” into the player. Say it a coincidence or anything else, I knew that, beyond any doubt, I found what I had long been seeking for.

What kept hitting me was a strong feeling that could hardly be accurately described when listening to metal. Every nerve of mine appeared to be massively
